Hello Chimera Hobby Shop Customers!

 The web store is open once again with the option of first class shipping or curbside pick up! 

Here are some of the changes to the process you need to know:

All orders will need to be paid on-line by paypal or by credit card over the phone. 

Curbside pick up will only be available at limited times. Once your order is ready you will receive a pick up date & time. You will be expected to pick up your order within the provided time frame or request a different time.  You may request a time in the comments section and we will let you know if that time is available. We will update once we know for sure what hours we will have available for pick up. 

Orders that are shipped will be sent out as soon as payment is received and the order is ready. 

This will be updated as soon as we have more information.

The retail & web store will be closed from Wednesday March 25, 2020 through April 24, 2020. No orders placed after 5 pm on Tuesday March 24 will be guaranteed. 

Q. Where are the cards?

A. We are taking this time to update the inventory in both stores. Most of the singles will be removed from the site until those updates are done. 

Q. What if my order was placed before Tuesday and I couldn't pick it up? 

A. It will be held until we reopen. We will not cancel your order. If for some reason your order auto cancels we will work with you at that time. 

Q. Why can't you ship my order?

A. We are not currently set up to ship out orders. We are looking at options and will update if we decide to do so.

At Chimera Hobby, we take the health and well-being of our customers and staff seriously. As such, we are implementing best practices as outlined by the Center for Disease Control and the Wisconsin Department of Health. As these guidelines may change, we will adapt our operations to meet them. These are all preventative measures to protect staff and customers, especially those who are in COVID-19 High Risk groups. We also recognize that Chimera Hobby is more than just a retail store; we are also an event space, hosting multiple events throughout the week. Due to the government ban on gatherings over 10 people all events are canceled until further notice.  We encourage our customers to take actions that they are the most comfortable with, and to keep the well-being of their fellow gamers in mind. We do ask our customers who are still coming to shop to help us keep our community as safe as possible by following the CDC guidelines:

-Clean your hands often - We provide access to soap & water, as well as hand sanitizer. Avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.

-Avoid close contact - Practice non-contact forms of greeting, like the Vulcan Salute.

-Stay home if you’re sick - Really. That copy of Ticket to Ride will still be there.

-Cover coughs and sneezes - Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow. Wash up afterwards.
